Tower Theater Fire Alarm System Installation
Project I.D. FA00007
Contract Change Order No. 01 provides for the installation of new shunt trip breakers, conductors and relays to shut down power and amplification to both Audio and Visual systems.
Per the approved Project Plans, the initial interception point was designated as the circuit serving the front-of-house mixing boards. However, Construction Management was informed that the mixing equipment lacks power loss protection. Upon further evaluation, it was determined that alternative circuits supplying the Audio and Visual equipment are available and suitable for interception to meet compliance requirements.
Funds are available in the project account to cover the cost of this Contract Change Order.
Staff has reviewed this work and recommends approval of this Change Order.
There will be sixteen (16) days change in the Contract Time by this Change Order.
We request your approval of Contract Change Order No. 01 on behalf of the City.
