A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, EXEMPTING THE CARNEGIE
LIBRARY GARAGE AND H STREET PARKING
STRUCTURE FROM SPECIAL EVENT PARKING RATES
WHEREAS, Downtown Fresno currently has three separate zones designated for special event parking; and
WHEREAS, when special events occur, parking rates across Downtown Fresno increase to specified “special event” rates; and
WHEREAS, the City is constructing two new parking structures in Downtown Fresno for which parking rates have not yet been established; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to exempt these new parking structures from any special event parking rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as follows:
1. The Carnegie Library Garage and H Street Parking Structure shall be exempt from any special event parking rates or surcharges. During special events, the parking rate for the Carnegie Library Garage and H Street Parking Structure shall remain at the rate established for non-special event days.
