SUBJECT: FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT AUTHORIZED AGENTS
SUMMARY
This action would authorize persons to execute documents related to Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) funding from the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA).
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No. 2022-XX.
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, FIRE CHIEF AND DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF TO EXECUTE STATE AND FEDERAL DOCUMENTS TO OBTAIN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT (EMPG) FUNDING.

DISCUSSION
This resolution would authorize the City Manager, Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief to execute for and on behalf of the City of Fullerton, any actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining federal financial assistance provided by the federal Department of Homeland Security and sub-granted through the State of California for the 2021-2023 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG).
