SUMMARY
Staff requests City Council ratify a direct appointment for an unscheduled vacancy on the Active Transportation Committee.
RECOMMENDATION
Council Member Zahra make the following direct appointment:
a. Active Transportation Committee – unexpired term ending December 31, 2022.
Ratify appointments.

DISCUSSION
The District 5 appointee on the Active Transportation Committee resigned on March 9, 2022. Council Member Zahra may make an appointment to fill the remainder of the term ending December 31, 2022.
The City Clerk’s Office has posted the legally required vacancy notice and requests City Council Member Zahra makes the direct appointment.
The City Clerk’s Office has forwarded copies of the committee applications received to City Council.
