Approve issuance of $500,000 grant to the City of Fullerton from the Fourth District's allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to support improvements to the HOPE (Homeless Outreach and Proactive Engagement) Center and the purchase of necessary furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Find under Government Code section 26227 that this expenditure is necessary to meet the social needs of the population, particularly in the areas of homelessness prevention, public safety, mental health, and rehabilitation.
3. Authorize and direct the Auditor-Controller to issue $500,000 grant to the City of Fullerton.
