DISCUSSION
The Parks and Recreation Department solicited a Request for Qualifications for on-call Landscape Architect on December 21, 2021 for a period of four weeks. The City received 15 proposals on January 18, 2022.

Parks and Recreation and Public Works / Engineering Department staff reviewed and rated the proposals based on qualifications including professional experience of key personnel, previous project experience, experience working with local municipalities and capability to perform all aspects of the proposed CIP projects. Based on the interdepartmental review, staff selected the following six firms: BGB Design Group, David Volz Design, KTUA, MIG, NUVIS and RJM Design Group.

The landscape architect professional service agreements will have a three year duration with two one-year options to extend upon agreement from City staff. Staff will assign park improvement projects to the firms on the list depending on the firms experience with similar type park projects.
