RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A DISABLED
PERSON PARKING ZONE IN FRONT OF 611 EAST COMMONWEALTH
AVENUE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The property owner made an application requesting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) parking adjacent to their property.
2. City staff reviewed the request, v erified compliance and confirmed the necessity of ADA parking.
3. The Transportation and Circulation Commis sion approved the request on October 3, 2022 meeting.
4. City Council approves limiting the nor th side of Commonwealth Avenue in front of 611 East Commonwealth Avenue, as shown in Ex hibit A, to p arking for disabled persons vehicles.
5. City Council directs the Public Works Director to install s igns and blue-p ainted curb giving notice of the restriction at this location.
6. The property owner(s) shall notify the City to re move the restriction when no longer in use by residents at the address.
