SUBJECT: NOVEMBER 8, 2022 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESULTS
SUMMARY
The City of Fullerton held a General Municipal Election on November 8, 2022 to elect City Council representatives from Districts 3 and 5. On Friday, December 5, 2022, the Orange County Registrar of Voters certified the results of the November 8, 2022 election.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No. 2022-XXX.

DISCUSSION
The City held a General Municipal Election on November 8, 2022 to elect a Member of the City Council from District 3 and District 5 to full terms of four years (expiring in 2026).
The Orange County Registrar of Voters completed the canvass and certified the November 8, 2022 election as follows:
Member of the City Council – District 3
Shana Charles 2,186 votes
Johnny Ybarra 1,459 votes
Arnel Dino 1,342 votes
Member of the City Council – District 5
Ahmad Zahra 2,604 votes
Oscar Valadez 2,311 votes
Tony Castro 587 votes
Staff has attached a copy of the certification to the resolution certifying the November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election.
