SUMMARY
Staff requests City Council make direct appointments for expired terms on the several City of Fullerton Boards, Commissions and Committees.
RECOMMENDATION
Mayor Jung make the following direct appointment:
Transportation and Circulation Commission – unexpired term ending December 31, 2024.
Council Member Charles make the following direct appointments:
Active Transportation Committee – term ending December 31, 2026 Community Development Citizens’ Committee – term ending December 31, 2026 Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2026 Parks and Recreation Commission – term ending December 31, 2026 Planning Commission – term ending December 31, 2026

Council Member Zahra make the following direct appointment:

DISCUSSION
The City Clerk’s Office has posted the legally required vacancy notice and requests Mayor Jung and Council Members Charles, Dunlap and Zahra make their direct appointments. An interview panel of the Mayor, one Council Member and Committee Chair will interview remaining applicants and make recommendations for appointment at the January 17, 2023 City Council meeting.
The City Clerk’s Office has forwarded copies of the committee applications received to City Council. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
