RESOLUTION NO. 2023-XXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO WRITE OFF CERTAIN ACCOUNTS DEEMED UNCOLLECTIBLE WHEREAS, the City has determined a need to harmonize city procedures for processing, collecting and disposing of delinquent accounts receivable across multiple city departments.
WHEREAS, City Council desires to grant the City Manager authority to write-off account receivables which staff have deemed uncollectible.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
City Council authorized the City Manager to write-off accounts under $50,000 which the City has deemed uncollectible within the City Manager’s determination.
City Council authorizes the City Manager to undertake all steps necessary to implement the adopted Statement of Financial Policies and authority approved herein, up to and including establishing appropriate administrative procedures for the processing, collection and handling of delinquent accounts.
