1 Introduction
The State of Recycling in California:
For years California boasted an 85% recycling rate for CRV beverage containers.
Due to a decrease in convenient program access for consumers, that rate is down to 59%.
Consumers simply do not have convenient access to recycling facilities and people are getting frustrated. 2 We have created the most convenient way to recycle.
3 What is Recycle From Home?
In recent years, Cal Recycle and the CA State Legislature teamed up to create a pilot program. This program was designed to seek out new ideas for improving consumer access.
We were asked to contribute and, as a result, Recycle From Home was born.
We are the first ever, State of California approved, mobile recycling service.
We make it incredibly easy to recycle CA CRV beverage containers from the convenience of your home. 4 How Does it Work?
It’s Easy:
Sign up at RecycleFromHome.com
We’ll deliver bags and instructions to your doorstep.
When you’re ready, you can schedule a pickup using our app.
We’ll pick up your recycling from your doorstep.
You get paid the same day via PayPal or Venmo. You can also elect to receive a check by mail. 5 6

Our Technology Systems
Our scheduling and routing algorithm prevents wasted motion and excess emissions. Ultimately, we are taking vehicles off the road, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Our proprietary payment system allows us to make same-day, batch electronic payments to all customers via PayPal or Venmo.
Full transaction accountability is available via settlement emails sent to customers along with complete chain of custody photographs.
Additionally, each customer has a web-based user portal where transaction data is accessible. 7 Our Plan for Fullerton

11 Orange County Grand Jury
California Refund Value (CRV):(CRV) is the amount paid to CONSUMERS when they recycle beverage containers at certified recycling centers.The nickel belongs to your Constituents, NOT your waste hauler.
AB 211 expressly states the intent of the Legislature is to “divert material from curbside recycling programs” (i.e. the trash companies).

The day we start service, every resident and business of Fullerton will have access to convenient, in-home, recycling service.
Recycle From Home LLC will report 100% diversion numbers to the appropriate City staff members. 14 What the City must do to participate
Write a letter of authorization to Cal Recycle naming Recycle From Home as the City’s pilot program provider.
Sign a simple program application.
Provide as much public education about the program as you can.
