Request to consider cancelling the Tuesday, July 4, 2023 City Council / Successor Agency Meeting.

Cancel July 4, 2023 City Council / Successor Agency Meeting.

CITY MANAGER REMARKS
It is my understanding that the City Council traditionally cancels meetings when the meeting date falls on or close to a City holiday and anticipates a lack of quorum or agenda items for that meeting.
DISCUSSION
The first City Council meeting in July 2023 falls on July 4th. Staff does not anticipate any agenda items requiring urgent action on July 4, 2023 and recommends cancelling that meeting, with the next meeting scheduled for July 18, 2023.
Alternately, City Council could reschedule the July 4, 2023 meeting to another date either the Tuesday prior or the Tuesday following July 4, 2023 if City Council wishes to hold the meeting. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
