SUBJECT: RULES OF PROCEDURE AND DECORUM FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
SUMMARY
City Council reviewed its Rules of Procedure and Decorum for City Council Meetings on March 21, 2023. This item presents a resolution to ratify changes made at that meeting for City Council consideration.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No. 2023-XXX.

CITY MANAGER REMARKS
The City Clerk has updated the Rules of Procedure based on the discussion at the City Council meeting on March 21, 2023. The attached Resolution reflects the changes as understood by staff.

DISCUSSION
City Council reviewed its Rules of Procedure and Decorum for City Council Meetings on March 21, 2023 and directed staff to update the resolution to include language to not require registration for speakers and add a section to the agenda for Council Members to discuss pulling items from the Consent Calendar.
The attached draft resolution reflects those changes for City Council adoption.
