The following notice is being provided so that you can ask questions, make comments , and stay informed about projects that might be important to you. We encourage you to contact us prior to the Public Hearing if you have any questions and/or to enter your testimony into the public record in advance of the Public Hearing.
Meeting Time and Date
This matter will be heard on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. by the City Council in the Fullerton City Council Chamber, 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832. Members of the public can access meetings streamed live online at www.cityoffullerton.com/agendas, on Spectrum Cable Channel 3, and AT&T U-Verse Channel
99. The public may also remotely participate in the meeting to make oral public comment via computer, smart device, or telephone. The Council Chamber will have limited seating available on a first -come, first-served basis for members of the public to attend the meeting in person.
What is the Proposed Project?
The project proposes to redevelop approximately 1.66 acres of commercial property located at the southeast corner of South Pomona Avenue and East Santa Fe Avenue (200- 214 East Santa Fe Avenue) within the City of Fullerton’s Transportation Center Specific Plan area. The project includes the development of a mixed-use project with 116-124 hotel rooms and 14 1 residential units with a 3,570 square foot ground floor commercial/restaurant space, a 1,600 square foot ground floor hotel lobby, and a 2,290 square foot ground floor residential lobby. Further, the project will incorporate 165 public parking spaces to replace the existing spaces currently located in the parking lot at the southeast corner of South Pomona Avenue and East Santa Fe Avenue and will have another 214 parking spaces for the hotel and residential uses. The project also proposes to have 13 units, 13% of the base density of the project, devoted to very low -income qualified households pursuant to the State Density Bonus Law, Government Code Section 65915.

• Major Site Plan (ZON -2022-0111) for review of the site improvements and compliance with the applicable development standards.
• Conditional Use Permit (ZON-2023-0031) to allow a hotel use in the Fullerton Transportation Center Specific Plan area.
• Tentative Parcel Map (SUB-2023-0002) for a 3-lot subdivision.
