The neighbors who reside on North Hart Place in Fullerton, CA would like to request the dosure of the Chapman Avenue/Hart Place aosswalk (at the Post Office/Pita Hot). There have been multiple accidents resulting in death and serious injury and we as a community not onty feel that it is a safety issue but also an unnecessary aosswalk as 1here is a nearby crosswalk with a pedestrian light available at ChaprnanNictoria Dr.
We would also like to request the closure of the wall gap at the end of North Hart Place , facing Chapman Avenue. The opening at the end of our cut-de-sac is also not necessary for our neighborhood. We have many young children on our street and it is a safety concern as the opening exits to Chapman Avenue. We also have a lot of transient and loitering foot traffic that has come through and litters on our street and has used our lawns as their personal toilets. We have caught on our cameras attempted burglaries of our cars and homes and many of the pedestrians thatwalk through our street enter and exit off Chapman·.
