2 NPP CHECKLIST
NON-PRIORITY WQMP COMMENTS:
1. Owner’s Certification – The certification shall be signed and dated by the owner.
2. Section II, Project Description – Under the “Paved Areas” section, list the total square footage of redevelopment. For instance, the new gas station, the landscape areas that will be replaced with hardscape, and parking lot areas where the original line and grade will be altered is considered “redevelopment.” Existing paved areas, ADA compliant sidewalks, and impervious areas where original line and grade will be maintained do not count towards the redevelopment threshold.
3. Page 12, Source Control BMP Implementation – Provide maintenance language and implementation frequency for all non-structural source control BMPs and structural source control BMPs checked as included on page 10 and 11.
4. WQMP Exhibit – See comments below:
a. Downspout filters are proposed at the gas station canopy. Call out the ultimate discharge point.
It must be clear runoff outlets outside of the canopy to ensure flows do not comingle with pollutants on the fueling pad.
b. Clarify if the gas station pad is susceptible to runon from the surrounding paved parking lot area.
Demonstrate on the plans runon will not occur.
c. Since a fueling area is proposed, call out the location of the dead-end sump.
