SUMMARY
Request to consider canceling the Tuesday, January 2, 2024 City Council / Successor Agency Meeting.
RECOMMENDATION
Cancel January 2, 2024 City Council / Successor Agency Meeting.
CITY MANAGER REMARKS
The City Manager recommends cancellation due to being the day after New Years and close to the Holiday Closure.

DISCUSSION
City Council traditionally cancels meetings when the meeting date falls on or close to a City holiday and anticipates a lack of quorum or agenda items for that meeting. The first City Council meeting in 2024 falls on January 2nd. City Hall will hold its winter closure December 22, 2023 through January 1, 2024, making agenda production difficult due to the closure and condensed timeframe. Staff does not anticipate any agenda items requiring urgent action on January 2, 2024 and recommends cancelling that meeting, with the next meeting scheduled for January 16, 2024. cc: City Manager Eric J.
