PROPOSED SERVICES & FEES
Should the project period/tasking be extended, The Lew Edwards Group (“Consultant”) will provide the following engagement and communications outreach services to the City of Fullerton:
(a) Collaborate with City staff for a well-organized project effort, functioning as the Lead Consultant in supporting project execution;
(b) Provide Strategic Recommendations for community engagement; (c) Draft Public Messaging/Engagement Platform; text copy for communications collaterals such as FAQs, web content, mailings, utility inserts, digital/online vehicles, and other materials; (d) Conduct message training
(e) Work with City staff on methods to engage constituents, expand co mmunity awareness of policy, fiscal/service needs and solicit additional community input on priorities; (f) Recommend to staff methods of engaging/informing co nstituents in City communications vehicles, including newsletters, guest columns, website, digital/online (g) Develop project timeline of engagement/communications activities; (h) Assist with rapid response needs as necessary (note Consultant does not function as a paid spokesperson for the City);
(i) Schedule regular project planning meetings with City staff to address ongoing project activities, needs and execution;
(j) Recommend and provide word copy content for informational materials/outreach (City to design, print and mail at its own expense outside of this agreement) The term and scope of services listed above will commence effective November 1, 2023 and are projected to end on July 31, 2024, unless project is suspended, or the term is extended by the parties.
The parties expressly agree that legal advice is not within Consultant’s scope of services. All services shall be provided through email, telephone, and video conferencing. No on-site visits will be required of Consultant.
Compensation shall be Fifty-eight Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($5 8,500) for professional services, due and payable as a monthly fee of Six Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars ($6,500) per month commencing on November 30 , 2023 and ending on July 31, 2024 unless the project is suspended, or the term is extended by the parties. .
