PROPOSAL ABSTRACT
The City of Fullerton will use 2023 JAG funding to enhance the safety of officers and detectives, as well as the community, by purchasing AEDs for patrol units and bulletproof vests for detectives.
PROPOSAL NARRATIVE
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The JAG funding will be utilized to support department operations conducting investigations and patrol helping to ensure detective and officer life safety with the purchase of bulletproof vests for detectives and AEDs for patrol units. Additionally, the AEDs help increase community safety in case an officer needs to use one during a call for service.
PROJECT GOALS AND LOCAL STRATEGIC PLANNING PLAN
The goals for this project are to:
• Increase community and officer safety
• Improve ability and efficiency for Law Enforcement operations
DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION-PROJECT PLAN FOR COLLECTING DATA The project goals and objectives will me bet by purchasing and issuing the identified equipment in order to improve community and officer safety, and efficiency of law enforcement operations.
BUDGET DETAIL AND NARRATIVE EXPLAINING ALL COSTS
