This letter is issued to provide further details regarding this proposed agreement between the City of Fullerton (City) and Republic Services (Republic) to procure and haul compost to assist the City in meeting its compost procurement requirements under SB 1383. Under this proposal, the City agrees to pay Republic a flat rate of $25 (Twenty Five Dollars) a ton for the delivery of compost to locations where it will be used for horticultural purposes. Republic will determine which of the locations it will deliver the compost to. The City may request delivery of the compost to a location of its choosing. After the location has been confirmed, Republic will provide the City a rate specific to each delivery location noted in the request. Republic agrees to supply the City with any documentation necessary to show compliance with the CalRecycle Regulations of Title 14, Division 7, Chapter 12. The rates agreed to in this letter maybe subject to annual increases.
