This report contains Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 donations received and used by City departments.
RECOMMENDATION
Receive and file report.
CITY MANAGER REMARKS
This report is merely to inform the City Council of the receiving and tracking of donations.

This item matches the following Priority Policy Statement:
Fiscal and Organizational Stability.
FISCAL IMPACT
The City received $714,564.29 in donations from various donors and used $581,238.13 on eligible purchases. The City accounts for donations in separate accounts so departments can track and manage donations.
DISCUSSION
City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-66 on July 21, 2020, authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to accept cash donations and gifts received. The Fiscal Services Division prepared the attached FY 2022-23 Donations Report which presents beginning balances, sources, uses and ending donation balances by department. The donations report shows that most of the donation accounts had activity, however, some accounts had no activity during the fiscal year but had an ending balance.
