RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEE SCHEDULE TO INCREASE THE FIREWORKS SALES PERMIT FEE WHEREAS, California Law authorizes the City of Fullerton to collect fees and charges for services, provided such fees and charges do not exceed the reasonable cost of providing the service.
WHEREAS, City Council last updated the fireworks sales permit fee in 2020 and costs for services have increased since that time.
WHEREAS, City Council reviewed the analysis of the cost to provide services on February 6, 2024 and directed staff to prepare a resolution to increase the firework sales permit fee to recoup a portion of the increased costs to provide services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
City Council adopts the fees set forth in this Resolution and will take effect immediately.
This resolution amends the City’s Master Schedule of Fees and Charges adopted in Resolution No. 2023-037 as follows:

Lottery application $28.00 each
Fireworks sales permit application $2,326.00 $2,900 each ADOPTED BY THE FULLERTON CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 20, 2024. ____________________________
