RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION MASTER AGREEMENT NO. 12-5133S21 WHEREAS, the City of Fullerton is eligible to receive State funding for certain Transportation Projects, through the California Department of Transportation.
WHEREAS, the City executed the latest Master Agreement on January 18, 2013. The Department of Transportation now requires that the City enter into an updated version of the Master Agreement due to changes in laws and policies.
WHEREAS, the City needs to execute Master Agreements and other financial agreements such as Program Supplement Agreements, Fund Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements with the California Department of Transportation before designating and/or claiming such funds for a project.
WHEREAS, the City of Fullerton wishes to delegate authorization to execute these agreements and amendments to the Director of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Fullerton, as the fund recipient, agrees to comply with all conditions and requirements set forth in the agreement and applicable statues, regulations and guidelines for all State-funded transportation and transit projects.
The City Council of the City of Fullerton authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute the agreements for State-funded transportation and transit projects and amendments thereto with the California Department of Transportation.
