CITY MANAGER REMARKS
The City Manager recommends cancellation of the November 5th Council meeting due to being on the Election night.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The 2024 General Municipal Election will occur on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Many cities cancel or reschedule their City Council meetings when the date falls on Election Day.
The Fullerton Library Conference Center will host a Vote Center this November with drive through ballot drop off in the City Hall parking lot. The Vote Center had long lines and significant drive through activity on Election Day 2020. Cancelling the City Council meeting could also provide additional parking for vote center patrons and less congestion for drive through voting on November 5, 2024. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
