RE: LRP-2024-0005/ Upper Golden Hills Neighborhood Zoning Amendment Dear Planning Commissioners:
We're writing to you in support of the establishment of the Upper Golden Hills Preservation Zone.
This letter represents the 85 homeowners in the Upper Golden Hills neighborhood who support the creation of the Preservation Zone. Enclosed is a chart summarizing all 100 properties - the signatures in support, the signature in opposition, and the 14 properties which did not sign either in support or opposition. For those properties that did not sign either way, the chart includes the number of outreach efforts we made to those properties, seeking their input.
We are amazed at the overwhelmingly positive response to the establishment of the Zone, and we will have a representative speak for us at the August 14, 2024 Planning Commission meeting. There may be neighbors that also want to express their individual support, and there may be some questions.
With so much positive support, we urge you to approve the establishment of the Upper Golden Hills Preservation Zone.
