SUMMARY
Staff requests City Council ratify several committee appointments.
PROPOSED MOTION:
1. Council Member Zahra make direct appointment to the Youth Advisory Committee for a term ending August 31, 2025.
2. Council Member Whitaker make direct appointment to the Youth Advisory Committee for a term ending August 31, 2025.
3. Mayor Pro Tem Jung make direct appointment to the Senior Advisory Committee for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2024.
4. Council Member Whitaker make direct appointment to the Senior Advisory Committee for an initial partial term ending December 31, 2024.
5. Council Member Zahra make a direct appointment to the Ad Hoc Fiscal Sustainability Committee.
6. Ratify all appointments.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Staff requests Council Members make direct appointments to several committees and City Council ratify the direct appointments as well as the school principal appointments to the Youth Advisory Committee.
The City Clerk’s Office has posted the legally required vacancy notice and forwarded copies of committee applications to City Council Members. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
