Staff requests City Council ratify Youth Advisory Committee school principal appointments.
PROPOSED MOTION:
Ratify the Youth Advisory Committee principal appointments from the following schools for terms ending August 31, 2025:
Sunny Hills High School
Buena Park High School
La Habra High School
Parks Junior High School
Ladera Vista Junior High School
Beechwood Elementary School
Fisler Elementary School.
ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS
Approve the Proposed Motion
Other options brought by City Council.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends the Proposed Motion.
CITY MANAGER REMARKS
The appointments are consistent with the methodology of the Youth Advisory Committee establishment.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Staff requests Council Members ratify school principal appointments to the Youth Advisory Committee.
Staff awaits school principal appointments from Fullerton Union High School, Troy High School, La Vista / La Sierra / iSierra, Sonora High School and Nicholas Junior High School and will present those appointments to City Council for ratification once received.
The City Clerk’s Office has posted the legally required vacancy notice and forwarded copies of committee applications to City Council Members. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
