The attachment shows the current ( as of September 10, 2024) status of the petition to have the W. Wilshire, Woods, and Wickett Square neighborhood become an Historic District with a residential preservation zone.
The attachment is different from the results that were stated in the staff report to the Planning Commission. The reasons are several as follows:
There are 98 properties within the proposed Historic District. The properties at 401 and 407 N. Woods Avenue are now included at the request of those property owners; there are several properties on the north side of the 500 block of West Wilshire Avenue that were not included in the list of original addresses; and there were two properties on the east side of Drake Avenue that were not included in the list of original addresses.
There are five more property owners who have signed the petition after the first petition papers were filed with you on Friday, August 30th. These properties are:

335 N. Drake Avenue
534 W. Wilshire Avenue
215 N. Woods Avenue
236 N. Woods Avenue
In reviewing the attachment, you will see that that of the 98 properties, 70 owners, or 71%, have signed the petition. More importantly, of those property owners providing a response (78 owners), 90% are in favor of the residential preservation zone for their neighborhood. Of those property owners who were unable to be contacted, a sizeablenumber reside outside of Fullerton.
