SUMMARY
Staff requests City Council make direct appointments for expired terms and unscheduled vacancies on several City of Fullerton Boards, Commissions and Committees.
PROPOSED MOTION
Mayor Jung make the following direct appointments:
Active Transportation Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Community Development Citizens’ Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Parks and Recreation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Planning Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Senior Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Transportation and Circulation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Mayor Pro Tem Charles make the following direct appointment:
Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Committee – partial term ending December 31, 2026.
Council Member Dunlap make the following direct appointments:
Active Transportation Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Community Development Citizens’ Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Parks and Recreation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Planning Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Senior Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Transportation and Circulation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Council Member Valencia make the following direct appointments:
Active Transportation Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.

Library Board of Directors – term ending December 31, 2027.
Parks and Recreation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.

Senior Advisory Committee – term ending December 31, 2028.
Transportation and Circulation Commission – term ending December 31, 2028.
Youth Advisory Committee – term ending August 31, 2025.
Ad Hoc Fiscal Sustainability Committee Member appointment (or reaffirm current District 4 appointment).
Council Member Zahra make the following direct appointments:
Transportation and Circulation Commission – unexpired term ending December 31, 2026.
Planning Commission – unexpired term ending December 31, 2026.
Ratify appointments.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The City Clerk’s Office has posted the legally required vacancy notices and requests Council Members make direct appointments. Council Member Valencia may reaffirm or make a new appointment to the District 4 Ad Hoc Fiscal Sustainability Committee.
The City Clerk’s Office has forwarded copies of the committee applications received to City Council. cc: City Manager Eric J. Levitt
