SUBJECT: BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REORGANIZATION – SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE AND INFRASTRUCTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
SUMMARY
City Council introduced the first reading of an ordinance to amend conditions governing commission and committee appointments during the January 21, 2025 City Council meeting. City Council may adopt the ordinance following second reading. The proposed resolution updates INRAC membership previously detailed in the ordinance.
PROPOSED MOTION
1. Adopt Ordinance No. 3336.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
City Council introduced Ordinance No. 3336 for first reading by title only and waived further reading of the ordinance by a 4 – 1 (Opposed: Zahra) vote at its January 21, 2025 meeting. The recommended action would adopt the introduced ordinance. The ordinance would take effect 30 days from the date of City Council adoption.
The resolution setting the Infrastructure and Natural Resources Advisory Committee membership becomes effective when Ordinance No. 3336 becomes effective.
