PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIESXV SOLUTIONS 1.Coordinate with City IT to install the new server rack, rack up all of the new equipment, install the new 220v line power for theemergency UPS, and add new networking connections from new rack to existing equipment2.Configure the new hardware, including networking, power, I/O, and hardware/software configuration for Dell Servers, SAN, Tap eDrive, KVM management console, and VMWare vSphere cluster.3.Create new Windows Servers (v2022) VMs for the Aveva System Platform v2023 R2 environment, including operating systems and Domain Controllers, and Aveva System Platform configuration4.Convert existing Galaxy from Wonderware v2014 to Aveva System Platform v2023 R2, this upgrade will be done in parallel in order to not disrupt the water production operations and system minimize downtime.5.Transition operations from version 2014 to version 2023 R2, coordinate with Water Production staff.6.Documentation: create documentation for Hypervisor system, with high availability configs and operation documentation that includes networking diagrams, system installation and configuration parameters as well as back up and restore procedures.NOTES:1. This project does not include rebuilding or redesigning the graphical elements of the SCADA user interface. The current interface is using an older standard for SCADA HMIs; the new standard is to use situational awareness graphics, but the effort to redesign the user interface should be undertaken after this project is complete, so that the new user interface takes advantage of the new features in the latest version of Aveva System Platform.2. Upon inspection of the event logs on the current system, we noticed a number of configuration warnings and some errors. This project is not meant to correct those and its expected that these configuration errors and warning may still persist after the upgrade to version 2023 R2.CITY OF FULLERTON1.
