RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING INDIVIDUAL CALRECYCLE GRANT APPLICATION SUBMITTALS AND RELATED AUTHORIZATIONS FOR ALL GRANT PROGRAMS WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code authorizes the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to administer various Grant Programs.
WHEREAS, CalRecycle must establish procedures governing grant program administration in furtherance of this authority.
WHEREAS, CalRecycle grant application procedures require, among other things, the applicant governing body to declare certain authorizations related to CalRecycle grant administration by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. City Council authorizes the City of Fullerton to apply to CalRecycle for all Grant Programs offered.
2. City Council authorizes the City Manager, or designee, as Signature Authority to execute in the name of City of Fullerton all grant documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, amendments and requests for payment necessary to secure grant funds and implement the approved grant project.
3. These authorizations remain effective for five years from the adoption date.
