SUBJECT: FULLERTON MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENTS PERTAINING TO ACCESSORY AND JUNIOR ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT REGULATIONS TO COMPLY WITH STATE LAW – SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE
SUMMARY
City Council introduced an ordinance for first reading regarding accessory and junior accessory dwelling units during the June 3, 2025 City Council meeting. City Council may adopt the ordinance following second reading.

Adopt Ordinance No. 3343.
ORDINANCE NO. 3343 – AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING FULLERTON MUNICIPAL CODE TITLE 15 ZONING INCLUDING SECTION 15.04.040 DEFINITIONS AND REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION 15.17.100 ACCESSORY AND JUNIOR ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
City Council introduced Ordinance No. 3343 for first reading by title only and waived further reading of the ordinance by unanimous vote at the June 3, 2025 meeting. The recommended action would adopt the introduced ordinance. The ordinance would take effect 30 days from the City Council adoption date.
