RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO
ACCEPT ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Fullerton City Council desires to undertake a project designated as Fullerton Police Department Fiscal Year 2025- 26 Alcoholic Beverage Control Grant Program administered by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (hereafter referred to as ABC).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. City Council authorizes the Chief of Police of the City of Fullerton to execute the attached contract, including any extensions or amendments and any subsequent contract with the State in relation thereto.
2. City Council agrees the grant recipient and authorizing agency assume any liability arising out of contract performance, including civil court actions for damages. The State of California and ABC disclaim responsibility for any such liability.
3. The City of Fullerton shall not use grant funds to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
4. City Council agrees that this award is not subject to local hiring freezes.
