SUMMARY
This action would set the public hearing date for a proposed abandonment of a portion of Commonwealth Avenue south and east of 1747 West Commonwealth Avenue (APN 030-252-01).

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Staff requests City Council set a public hearing for proposed abandonment of a portion of Commonwealth Avenue by adopting a Resolution of Intention, pursuant to Fullerton Municipal Code Section 16.08.070. The resolution describes the proposed abandonment area for the portion of Commonwealth Avenue south and east of 1747 West Commonwealth Avenue (APN 030-252-01) and sets a time and place for a public hearing on the matter. The hearing date may not occur less than fifteen days from adopting the Resolution of Intention.
The resolution and exhibits comply with CEQA determination requirements as the project is categorically exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects).
The Resolution of Intention sets the public hearing for the proposed abandonment on November 4, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fullerton Council Chambers, 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, CA.
