BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
City Council traditionally cancels meetings when the meeting date falls on or close to a City holiday and anticipates a lack of quorum or agenda items for that meeting. The second City Council meeting in December 2025 falls on December 16, 2025. City Hall will close for winter closure between December 24, 2025 and January 4, 2025. Staff does not anticipate any agenda items requiring urgent action on December 16, 2025 and recommends cancelling that meeting, with the next meeting scheduled for January 7, 2026. cc: Interim City Manager Eddie Manfro
