Construction Updates
Cypress
The Cypress Trunk Sewer Project is currently working nights within Forest Lawn Cemetery in the City of Cypress to complete pipe bursting activities. Over the next couple of weeks, work will shift to the intersection of Lincoln Ave. and Denni St. to install three bypass systems before the last phase of pipe replacement work can begin. This work will begin with partial daytime activities and transition to night work. For more information visit ocsan.gov/cypress.

Huntington Beach
The Wall and Soil Improvements Project at Plant No. 2 is nearing completion. Later this month, crews will begin repairs and paving portions of the bike path impacted during construction. The Talbert Marsh bike path between Brookhurst Street and the Santa Ana River will be fully closed for the duration of the work, including evenings and weekends. Closure information is available at ocsan.gov/wall.

Newport Beach
At the Bay Bridge Pump Station construction site, two new force mains have been installed inside the completed tunnel from the existing pump station to a quarter mile away near Dover Drive. The new force mains inside the tunnel will connect to existing pipelines. Microtunneling equipment will be demobilized by end of this month. Preparation efforts are now underway for construction of the new pump station with potholing for utilities and delivering equipment to the site. More information is posted on the project website at ocsan.gov/baybridge.

Orange
The Taft Avenue Sewer Improvement Project has entered its final stretch, with crews completing work along Meats Ave. in the City of Orange. Paving is now complete, and final striping is scheduled for the last week of September, which will mark the completion of the project. Crews are working on final punch list items that may require them to be onsite for a few more weeks. Community outreach surveys have been distributed to the residents and businesses along the project alignment to gather feedback on construction communication efforts. For more information visit ocsan.gov/taft.

Santa Ana
Work continues on the Santa Ana Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation project on Alton Avenue between Bristol Street and Raitt Street. A temporary bypass system is set up allowing uninterrupted sewer service to the community while the work takes place. A section of pipe between Bristol Street and Bear Street will require additional work and crews will remain in the area longer than originally anticipated. Updated information will be provided when details are finalized and schedules are confirmed. Crews are also working on the next section of work which requires the closure of westbound Alton Avenue between Susan Street and Fairview Street for up to five months. More information is posted on the project website at ocsan.gov/santaana.
