Community Comments from the Boards
Bastanchury Greenbelt is a great opportunity to improve access to open space. Engage campus-based environmental organizations, including Sierra Club chapters and environmental advocacy groups.
Explore extending community access to school facilities during after-school hours. General support was expressed for the proposed goals; community members liked the icons from the presentation.
Add a goal focused on identifying and pursuing funding opportunities. Increase access to supermarkets and healthy food options throughout the City. Expand shade coverage in public spaces.
Consider oil extraction buffer policies where appropriate. Provide secure bicycle parking at transportation centers.
