SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Council Chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt, California
Monday, December 12, 2022
This meeting of the Galt City Council was conducted in person and by teleconference. City Council Members and City staff attended in person in the Council Chambers.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:01 pm. Council Members present: Sandhu, Papineau, Vandenburg, Lozano, and Farmer.
Staff Members present: City Manager Hines and City Clerk Hubert.
PUBLIC COMMENT: The City Clerk stated that Pursuant to Government Code section 54954.3, public comments at a special meeting may only relate to any matter described on the special meeting agenda at the time the matter was discussed. General public comment for items not listed on the agenda was prohibited. She said those who submitted written public comments by 3:00 pm on the day of the meeting would be distributed to City Council, made part of the official minutes and posted on the City’s website but would not be read aloud. Live comments would be subject to the customary five-minute time limit.
DEPARTMENTAL:
NOVEMBER 8, 2022 ELECTION RESULTS:
1. SUBJECT: Certification of November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election Results.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 2022-97 certifying the election results of the November 8, 2022, General Municipal Election.
Hubert gave the report.
ACTION: Upon a motion by Lozano, seconded by Sandhu, adopting Resolution No. 2022-97 was approved by a unanimous roll call vote.
There being no further business to come before City Council, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 4:04 pm.
