A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Joshua Cullers, Chair, called meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
B. ROLL CALL: Adult Mentors Present: Fjeldstad, Goerzen, Lampson Adult Mentors Absent: King, Farmer
Youth Members Present: Akers, Bowman (6:31), Brixey, Bulahan, Murillo Cuevas, Cullers, Jones, Lallian, Ortega, Sandhu

D. PRESENTATIONS:
Leesa Klotz with Cal Waste thanks Commission for impact on the city throughout the years.
E. REGULAR BUSINESS:
1. Introduce New Commissioners
Each new commissioner for the following year was introduced.
2. Budget Report
Commissioner Jones shared that no update has come forth in budget.
3. Approval of Minutes for April 1, 2024
Minutes were presented to commission for approval.
Moved: Jones Second: Bowman Ayes: 10 Nays: 0 Abstain: 0
4. Senior Technology Project
Commission shared report on how event went and what could have gone better.
5. Anual Report
Commission discussed on how the commission will present annual report to council on June 18th and discussed who will help create the report.
6. GYC Scholarship Awards
Approved Scholarships - Alexa Murillo Cuevas-$1,000, Kayson Jones-$1,000, Akayla Joy Gunter- $500, Izabella Kunze- $500.

7. Change bylaws from 10 Commissioners to 12
Commission discussed increasing the numbers of commissioners and what that would entitle.
Commission voted on taking this change to City Council.

8. Summer Team Building
Commission decided to create a survey in order to find a common date for bonding experience.

9. Game Night with Seniors and Teen Center
No date chosen. Tabled.
10. June and July Special Meetings
Commissioners approved June 10, 2024 and July 8, 2024, as special meeting dates to approve scholarship minutes and member increase.

11. Council Update
Item tabled.
12. Saturday Market Participation
Commissioners voted on participation in future Saturday markets and discussed what that would look like.
