SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Council Chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt, California
Tuesday, August 5, 2025
This meeting of the Galt City Council was conducted in person. City Council Members and City staff attended in person in the Council Chambers.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. Council Members present: Sandhu, Pratton, Reed, Rodriguez, and Farmer.
Staff members present: Interim City Manager Erias, City Clerk Hubert and Interim City Attorney Splendorio.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Written public comment received from Dolcey Selke regarding the Fairway Oaks project.
Written public comment received from Lawrence Jacobson regarding the Fairway Oaks project.
Lawrence Jacobson spoke on the Fairway Oaks project.
INFORMATION/CONSENT CALENDAR: Consisting of Items 1 through 2.
1. SUBJECT: Receive and File Warrants for period ending July 16, 2025.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive and file warrants for the period ending July 16, 2025.
2. SUBJECT: Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 15, 2025.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the minutes as submitted.
ACTION: Upon a motion by Rodriguez, seconded by Reed, adopting the consent calendar was approved by a unanimous roll call vote
ADJOURNED TO CLOSED SESSION:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL— ANTICIPATED LITIGATION (Government Code 54956.9(d)(2))
Significant exposure to litigation: three cases
RECONVENED TO OPEN SESSION: The City Council reconvened to open session at 6:00 pm at which time the City Attorney announced there was no reportable action.
There being no further business to come before City Council, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 6:00 pm.
