1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
PLEDGE OF ALLEGAINCE
2. ROLL CALL: COMMISSIONERS: Denier, Gerling, Johnson, Jones, and Jackson.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the audience may address the Commission on non-agenda items. Speakers may address the Commission on any agenda item during consideration of the item. Speakers shall restrict their comments to issues that are within the subject matter jurisdiction to the Planning Commission and limit comments to a maximum of three minutes. Please fill out a speaker sheet located on the table inside the entrances to the Council Chambers and forward the completed speaker sheet to the Recording Secretary.
4. INFORMATION/CONSENT CALENDAR:
A. SUBJECT: Minutes of the April 9, 2026 Regular Meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Commission approve the minutes of the April 9, 2026 Regular Meeting.
5. PUBLIC HEARING:
A. SUBJECT: Single Family Residential Objective Design Standards RECOMMENDATION: Recommend the City Council approve the amendments to Section
18.16.055 of the Galt Municipal Code related to design standards for single-family homes, including townhomes.
6. PUBLIC MEETING:
A. SUBJECT: 2026-2027 Capital Improvement Program General Plan Consistency NOTE: Speaker Request Sheets are provided inside the Council Chambers. If you wish to address the Commission during the meeting, complete a speaker sheet and give it to the Secretary of the Commission. A maximum of three (3) minutes is allowed for each speaker.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Planning Commission adopt a resolution finding that those projects planned for implementation in Fiscal Year 2026-27 are consistent with the 2030 Galt General Plan.
B. SUBJECT: Preliminary Review Process Discussion
RECOMMENDATION: Discuss and provide direction regarding the potential establishment of a Preliminary Review process, including applicability, timing, and the role of the Planning Commission.
