MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026, 6:00 PM
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chair Schamber.
Committee Members present were: Chair C. Schamber, J. Hubert, G. Sauter and Non-Voting Member – Council Member P. Sandhu.
Absent: Vice Chair Selby and L. Smith.
Staff Members present were: Police Captain Small, Executive Assistant Wendy Masters, Police Corporal G. Steele and Public Works Interim Director Fritz Buchman.
We pledged allegiance to the American Flag.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
1. Members of the public spoke of some problem areas located within the city that require attention.
PRESENTATION:
1. 4th of July Enforcement Operations Presentation – Presenter was absent.
This item will be added to the next agenda.
2. City of Galt Safety Action Plan - Community Workshop #2.
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. Approval of Minutes from March 23, 2026, meeting.
Motion to approve by G. Sauter and seconded by J. Hubert.
Approved with a vote of 3-0.
2. Annual Report Review for Council Presentation on September 1, 2026.
Motion to approve report by G. Sauter and seconded by J. Hubert.
Approved with a vote of 3-0.
