1 CITY OF GARDEN GROVE
AMENDMENT NO. 2
This Amendment No. 2 is made and entered into on ___________________, 2024 by and between the CITY OF GARDEN GROVE, hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and BORDERS ARCHITECTS hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR".
WHEREAS, CONTRACTOR and CITY entered into Contract No. B 230104, dated September 13, 2022 to provide the City with architectural consultant services related to the Central Cities Navigation Center (CCNC), Project No.
CP1350000-1, including but not limited to, Schematic, Architectural, and Interior Design Services, located at 13871 West Street , as needed (the “Existing Contract”).
WHEREAS, CONTRACTOR and CITY desire to amend the Existing Contract as provided herein.
Now, therefore, it is mutually agreed, by and between the parties as follows:
Section 3.0., COMPENSATION - shall be amended as follows:
Contractor shall be compensated in accordance with the Rate and Services Structure set forth in Exhibit “A” attached herewith and made a part hereof. The contract price is hereby increased by Twenty-Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars and 00/100 cents ($27,905.00) for a total compensation not to exceed $347,105.00.
Except as expressly amended hereby, all of the terms and conditions in the Existing Contract remain in full force and effect as originally executed.

SCOPE OF SERVICE
To compensate the following Letters of Authorization (LOAs) 1- LOA 5 (B-F): To provide Additional Services under the term of the agreement that were not part of the original Basic Services scope of work related to construction consultant services totaled 123 hours. 2- LOA 7: To provide Additional Services under the term of the agreement that were not part of the original Basic Services scope of work related project close-out activities.
