The products offered by Crossroads Software, including our Collision Database System, Electronic Citation Application and our Analytics Application are available exclusively from Crossroads Software. Crossroads Software does not distribute our software through other vendors so that we may maintain control over the quality of installation, training and support that we provide with our software systems. Our Collision and Citation Analytics Application, a core component of our software suite of products, include proprietary programming and capabilities unique to Crossroads companion applications and are not offered by other companies.
Crossroads products are delivered as site licenses, allowing the client to install them on as many workstations as needed without having to purchase additional licenses as more installations are required. This is in contrast to many other companies who charge “per seat” license fees.
The Crash Report Writer application being proposed works in conjunction with the Collision Database Analytics application, which performs analytics on traffic collisions as well as traffic citations generated through the use of our Electronic Citation writing application.
The Crossroads Systems includes many unique capabilities and features not offered by other companies. Listed below are just a few of the unique features of Crossroads Systems that are unavailable in competing systems.
• The Analytics System produces accurate automatic mapping of collisions on public property in Google Earth and GIS formats.
• The Collision Database Analytics application performs extensive analytics on imported traffic collision data from crash reports created with the Crossroads Crash Report Writer application.
Additionally, crash data created with the Report Writer meshes seamlessly with the Legacy Analytics Application already in use by the City of Garden Grove Public Works Division.
• The Crossroads Systems use a sophisticated street model that work across all Crossroads applications using the city GIS Street Shapefile as the foundation. This gives the ability for the Crossroads applications to provide drop-down lists of streets and their cross streets for accurate reporting and analytics.
• Crash reports created with our electronic Crash Report Writer are electronically forwarded to the CHP/SWITRS database eliminating manual data entry of crash data.

• The Crossroads e-Citation System works in conjunction with the Crossroads Report Writer and Analytics System, using the same configuration items. Data is shared automatically between the applications.
• Citations produced in the Crossroads e-Citation System are California Judicial Council Compliant. Citations in other systems are often not Judicial Council compliant, which can cause issues with the courts.
• Notices of Correction (Citation Amendments) can be easily produced in the Crossroads E- Citation desktop module. Other systems are lacking this important feature.
Crossroads Software, Inc. is a local Southern California company (in Brea, California) and has been providing software for reporting and analytics of traffic collisions and traffic citations for over 31 years. Crossroads provides installation, training, and support services on a timely basis. Competing Systems are not California-based.
The Crossroads Report Writer, Analytics and E-Citation applications are widely used throughout California. Agencies and Cities local to Garden Grove that use Crossroads applications in one form or another include Huntington Beach, Anaheim, Brea, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Irvine, Placentia, Orange, Westminster, Orange County Sheriff, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, and Buena Park among others.
