1 CITY OF GARDEN GROVE
AMENDMENT NO. 2
This Amendment No. 2 is made and entered into this __________________, 2024, by and between the CITY OF GARDEN GROVE, hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and QUALITY FENCE CO. hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR".
WHEREAS, CONTRACTOR an d CITY entered into Contract No. P241854, dated December 12, 2023 , to furnish material, equipment, and labor for the Caltrans Fencing Improvement Project (Phase 2) , Project No. 1222000046/EA#0T410, consisting of the installation of fencing and decorative paving and gravel on unpaved slopes and narrow areas in the City of Garden Grove, County of Orange, on State Route 22, from Springdale St. to Garden Grove Blvd., as needed (the “Existing Contract”).
WHEREAS, CONTRACTOR and CITY desire to amend the Existing Contract as provided herein.
Now, therefore, it is mutually agreed, by and between the parties as follows:
Section 3, COMPENSATION - shall be amended as follows:
Contractor shall be compensated in accordance with scope of work set forth in the Existing Contract. The contract price is hereby increased by Four Hundred Sixty Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Nine dollars and 90/100 cents ($466,459.90) to address additional identified fencing locations , and further adjusted by removing slope paving work.
Except as expressly amended hereby, all of the terms and conditions in the Existing Contract remain in full force and effect as originally executed.
Section 4, COMMENCE OF PROJECT - shall be amended as follows:
To be amended to add one hundred eighty (180) working days.
