Subject: Acceptance of Project No. S-1328-A, Phase One Roof Replacement Project at the Garden Grove Amphitheater Campus, as complete. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to accept Project No. S-1328-A Phase One, Roof Replacement Project at the Garden Grove Amphitheater Campus located at 12762 Main Street as complete and authorize the City Manager to execute the Notice of Completion of Public Improvement and Work.
BACKGROUND
On June 25, 2024, City Council awarded a contract to AME Builders Inc., in the amount of $59,900 to complete the scope of work that specified replacing two (2) roofs on buildings located within the Amphitheater grounds. During the project, a third smaller roof was added to the scope of work. The cost of the additional work did not exceed the ten percent contract contingency designed to cover unforeseen conditions and work.
DISCUSSION
The contractor, AME Builders Inc., has completed phase one of the Amphitheater Roof Replacement Project in accordance with related plans, specification s and other contract documents.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to accept Project No. S -1328-A, Phase One, Roof Replacement Project at the Garden Grove Amphitheater Campus located at 12762 Main Street, as complete.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that City Council:
Accept Project No. S -1328-A, Phase One Roof Replacement Project at the Garden Grove Amphitheater Campus located at 12762 Main Street as complete; Authorize the City Manager to execute the Notice of Completion of Public Wor ks improvement and work; and
Authorize the Finance Director to release the retention payment when appropriate to do so.
