Subject: Acceptance of Project No. S-1333 Phase Two Amphitheater Roof Replacement Project, as complete. (Action Item)
OBJECTIVE
For the City Council to accept Project No. S-1333 Phase Two Amphitheater Roof Replacement Project at the Garden Grove Amphitheatre campus located at 12762 Main Street, as complete.
BACKGROUND
On September 24, 2024, the City Council awarded a contract to Chapman Coast Roofing Inc., in the amount of $119,518, to complete the scope of work that specified replacing two (2) roofs on buildings located within the Amphitheater grounds.
DISCUSSION
The contractor, Chapman Coast Roofing Inc., has completed Phase Two of the Amphitheater Roof Replacement Project in accordance with related plans, specifications and other contract documents.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The project was funded through Building Rehab ilitation internal service fund s and was completed within budget. Accepting the project as complete will have no additional financial impact.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council:
Accept Project No. S-1333 Phase Two Roof Replacements at the Amphitheatre campus located at 12762 Main Street Garden Grove, as complete; Authorize the City Manager , or designee, to execute the Notice of Completion of Public Works Improvement and Work; and

Authorize the Finance Director to release the retention payment when appropriate to do so.
