Thank you for accepting the offer as a temporary Senior Program Specialist. This letter outlines the terms of your extra help retired annuitant employment with the City of Garden Grove.
Your employment as a temporary Senior Program Specialist will start on April 12, 2025, with an anticipated end date of one year from your start date. Your wage will be Step I of Range M171 at $56.86 per hour. As a retired annuitant, you are only offered the hourly pay rate, as you are not eligible to receive any other benefit, incentive, compensation, in lieu of benefits, or any other form of compensation. Retirement contributions will not be collected or paid to you. Additionally, you may work no more than 960 hours in a fiscal year.
