AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR JAIL OPERATIONS SERVICES
This Amendment to Professional Services Agreement for Jail Operations Services ("Amendment") is entered into by and between the CITY OF GARDEN GROVE , a municipal corporation ("CITY"), and UNIVERSAL PROTECTION SERVICE, LP d.b.a.
ALLIED UNIVERSAL SECURITY SERVICES ("ALLIED"), effective as of July 1, 2025.
WHEREAS, CITY and G4S Secure Solutions (USA), Inc. entered into that Professional Services Agreement for Jail Operations Services Dated October 8, 2021 (“Agreement”) to provide assistance in the operation of the CITY’s temporary holding facilty; and
WHEREAS, G4S Secure Solutions (USA), Inc. assigned the Agreement to ALLIED, and CITY consented thereto; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4 of the Agreement, the Agreement is for a period of three years, provided that the CITY has the option to extend the term for up to two more years; and
WHEREAS, CITY wishes to extend the Agreement through June 30, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed, by and between the parties as follows:
1. The term of the Agreement is hereby extended through June 30, 2027.
2. Section 9(E) of the Agreement is hereby amended to add the following compensation for Fiscal Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027:

FY 2026-2027 $947,625.28 July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027
TOTAL FOR TWO
ADDITIONAL YEARS $1,854,738.82
2. Except as expressly amended hereby, the Agreement remains in full force and effect.
